Licensing
REQUIREMENT: The owner of a dog more than 5 months of age on January 1 of any year, or 5 months of age within the license year, shall annually, on or before the date the dog becomes 5 months of age, pay the dog license tax and obtain a license(Wisconsin Statute 174.05). The license will be valid January 1 though December 31.

$5.00 FOR A NEUTERED MALE OR SPAYED FEMALE ANIMAL. $10.00 FOR AN UNNEUTERED MALE OR UNSPAYED FEMALE ANIMAL. $5.00 ADDITIONAL FEE, IF PAID AFTER APRIL 1. |
The animal's current rabies vaccination certificate must be presented, certified by a licensed veterinarian when applying for the license.
