How do I register to vote in the Town of Vinland

You must register to vote if you have not previously voted in the Town of Vinland. You may do so in the clerk's office during regular office hours or the day of an election at the polls. Download a voter registration application.

  1. You must be 18 years of age on or before the Election Day.
  2. You must have been a resident of the Town of Vinland for a minimum of twenty-eight (28) days prior to Election Day
  3. You must fill out a Voter Registration form and provide a current driver's license or other acceptable ID (go to https://vpa.wi.gov  for more information). Forms for proof of residecy would be a utility bill, bank statement or check book showing your new address. You will need to bring one of the residency requirements with you when you register to vote.
  4. You may register by mail, but make sure you include copies of all required documents.

How do I receive an Absentee Ballot?

You can call the office and request an application for an absentee ballot. The clerk will mail you an application or you can stop at the office and fill out the form. You can also Download an Absentee Ballot Application from this site.
