VINLAND PLAN COMMISSION MEETING
Vinland Town Hall
April 2, 2012; 6:30 P.M.
The Plan Commission meeting started at 6:35 PM with Joe Kuehnl, Jeff Gorr, Dale Wilde, Zoning Administrator Bob Weber, Commission Chairperson Shirley Brazee and Commission Secretary Marilyn Fahrenkrug as well as 3 other people present.
Approval of minutes from December 5, 2011. Motion to approve made by Weber/second/Kuehnl/carried.
The Plan Commission reviewed the following items:
- The proposed CSM submitted for Ginger Wolff-Anderson, to create Lot (#1 310,622 sq. ft.(7,131 acres) out of tax parcels 026-0068 & 026-0074. A revised map was submitted due to a change of where the culvert will be placed due to a DNR request.
Motion was made to recommend approval to the Town Board by Weber
Roll call vote yes 5 to recommend approval to Town Board
no 0 to recommend not to approve
- The proposed CUP applied for by Carol Capener and Robert Probst to use Parcel No. 026-0639-05-01 to keep their horses for personal use. No boarding or breeding is planned. The applicant does have a pending purchase agreement for the property if the CUP is approved. The property will remain zoned as commercial and the ordinance (Town of Vinland Title 13 Article D, Sections 13-1-64 & 13-1-65 Article C, 13-1-50) does allow this property to be used in this manner. There were no persons in attendance that objected to the proposed use.
Roll call vote yes 4 to recommend approval to Town Board
No 0 to recommend not to approve
1 (Jeff Gorr) Recusal due to the proximity of his property to the proposed use property
Motion to adjourn was made at 7:28 pm by Kuehnl/second/Brazee/carried.
