Article B: General Provisions, Sec. 13-1-20 Jurisdiction and Compliance

1. Jurisdiction.The jurisdiction of this Chapter shall include all lands and water within the Town of Vinland, Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
2. Compliance.No structure, land or water shall hereafter be used and no structure or part thereof shall hereafter be located, erected, moved, reconstructed, extended, enlarged, converted or structurally altered without a zoning permit and full compliance with the provisions of this Chapter and all other applicable town, county and state regulations.

A zoning permit requires a written explanation of the proposed work or project planned together with a documented site plan of the project along with any supporting documents. Applications for a zoning permit should be sent to Bob Weber.

Note: Any disturbance of land 400 cubic yards or 4000 square feet in area or more will require a Stormwater/Erosion Control Permit issued by Winnebago County Land & Water Conservation Department(phone 232-1950 or 727-8642). The Town of Vinland will require a copy of this permit prior to the issuing of a zoning permit.
